This page sets out how the Soveau website handles information, or will once its forms are enabled. Sections marked “To be finalized” still need approved details; the statements around them are factual descriptions of how the product and this website are designed to work.
1. Scope
This policy is intended to cover the Soveau website. Soveau is a NarrowQuest product.
It doesn’t yet cover the Soveau application, which isn’t available.
To be finalized The final scope statement, including which organization is responsible for information collected through the website, will be published once confirmed.
2. Information we collect
The Shape Soveau and Join the Pilot forms are currently disabled, so nothing is being collected through them.
When the forms are enabled, a Shape Soveau response may include a professional role, a description of a document task and what makes it difficult, the outcome you would want, and, optionally, an email address.
When enabled, a Join the Pilot registration may include your name, email address, role, organization size, a description of your document-sharing workflow, and an optional note.
Each submission also records whether you agreed to research or pilot follow-up and whether you asked for product updates.
The forms ask visitors not to include client names, confidential information, or documents, and they do not accept file uploads.
This site does not currently use analytics or advertising trackers.

3. Research and pilot submissions
Shape Soveau is intended for workflow research, and Join the Pilot is intended for pilot participation.
Responses remain private. Nothing submitted is published, and there is no public board.
Access to submissions is initially limited to authorized NarrowQuest personnel.
Consent to research or pilot follow-up is separate from consent to receive product updates.

4. Marketing consent
Consent to receive product updates is optional and separate from consent to be contacted about research or the pilot.
No marketing or email service is connected. Agreeing to product updates is recorded as a preference and doesn’t automatically add anyone to a marketing list.

5. Website technical data
The website is hosted on Netlify. Like any hosting service, it may process technical information, such as IP addresses, in order to deliver and secure the site.

6. Document processing boundary
The marketing website does not accept document uploads.
Soveau is being designed so that routine document processing occurs on the user’s device by default.
Future online services, such as accounts, licensing, and updates, are intended to stay separate from document processing.

7. Data retention
Raw prelaunch submissions from Shape Soveau and Join the Pilot are kept for a maximum of 180 days.
They are deleted earlier where appropriate, for example on a valid request.
If a participant later enters an actual pilot or product relationship, information needed for that relationship may be governed separately by the applicable pilot or product terms.

8. Service providers
Netlify provides website hosting and, when the forms are enabled, form handling and storage of submissions.
This policy makes no statement about where Netlify stores data.
No marketing, email, or analytics service is connected.

9. Your choices and rights
Nothing on this website requires you to submit anything.
